Figurative portraits and abstract portraits:
This series includes seven busts of women all dedicated to important pieces of music, for example Händel's "Messiah", Mozart's "Magic flute" and Tchaikovsky's violin concerto. The expressions of the busts follow and capture the music and reflect its prominence. This serves as a media between the artist and the spectator/collector as well as between the universe and human beauty allowing them to communicate beyond sculptural coalescence. These busts give bodily form to the melodies.
The abstractions are just abstractions in a language of their own. They transport the message from concretion to a latent pattern maintenance.
